Pacquiao fans, you can forget a showdown with Mayweather Jr because all signs point to Mayweather ducking Pacquiao and leaving boxing. In a recent interview, Mayweather Jr once again talks about leaving boxing and heading to the WWE.
For a man who claims to be the best in boxing and the king of PPV, Floyd really has no desire to fight Pacquiao; which would be the best fight boxing has to offer and the highest PPV buys since the Mayweather vs. Oscar De La Hoya fight. But instead, we have a “boxer” who keeps talking about leaving boxing and heading to pro-wrestling. Here are Mayweahter’s latest comments:
“I’m not calling anyone out, so I’m not here to talk about Manny Pacquiao. Right now, I’m looking at the WWE. I talked with the (Vince) McMahon family and they’re happy with the idea, So I may move there full-time. I don’t know.” .. comments taken from a Fanhouse article
Floyd is supposed to have this big comeback fight and establish who is #1. Yet, he keeps talking about leaving boxing and focusing on other things like heading to the WWE. And let’s not forget how Floyd likes to show off his money and create a public perception that he’s all about the money with his armor trucks and bullet proof vests. Let’s also not forget about the legal troubles he finds himself in. Does this sound like a fighter that’s committed to his sport?
The more and more I hear Mayweather talk about heading to the WWE, the more I believe him. After his guest appearance on the August 24th edition of WWE RAW, Mayweather sat down with WWE.com and talked about how much he wants to be a part of pro-wrestling:

Mayweather went on talk about how much a fan he was of pro-wrestling ever since he was a kid. He also talks about how pro-wrestling brings him closer to his kids.
So, let’s recap why there’s some truth to Mayweather heading to the WWE
On the cusp of his big fight, and Mayweather is talking about leaving boxing and becoming a pro-wrestler. He has a history of working with the WWE including WretleMania 24. After his latest appearance on RAW, Mayweather says he wants to be a pro-wrestler He is having HHH accompany him to the ring (read the press release)
In all honesty, I think the biggest reason why Mayweather would head to the WWE is because he is scared of Manny Pacquiao…………
