The drawing power of the fight has reached unprecedented heights and has established not a few “first “ in the annals of Cebu boxing.
In a milestone of an event and a “first” not only in Cebu but probably in the Philippines is the participation of LAS VEGAS in association with international promoter Sammy Gello-ani in endorsing the mega fight.
“LAS VEGAS will be our major presentor. The Morales-Pacquiao fight may have probably influenced Las Vegas to look into the Filipino market for future Mexican – Filipino encounters in Vegas and the charismatic 18-year-old Bautista could be just one of their future attractions,” said the ecstatic Gello-ani.
The historic first fight appearance of a Mexican in Cebu boxing arena is another “first” for this island in the Pacific. No fighter from this Latin American country has ever come to the shores of Cebu.
A spectacle of popular and exotic beauties, the VIVA Hot Babes, will be a “first” in Cebu to adorn the ring as round girls during the Bautista-Bolanos main event.
VIVA Sports big boss, Vic del Rosario, Jr. and Ronnie Nathaniels, have assured the promoter that the VIVA Hot Babes will surely heat up the air-conditioned Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex on the night of the fight on June 11.
The two warring protagonists, Bautista and Bolanos will also get to display their wares in a “first” press previer at the prestigious Banilad Town Center during the blessing and inauguration of the “Fight Club” on June 8 at 5 pm with cocktails to be served to the invited guests and members of the media.
The Fight Club is purely a boxing fitness gym managed by the ALA Boxing, Inc., which has been established since 1985.
