MANILA, Philippines – Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant expressed admiration and respect for Manny Pacquiao and vows to support the local boxing icon in his next fight.
Bryant and Pacquiao appear together in an upcoming commercial for Nike. Both are endorsers of the brand.
“I love him. I enjoy being with people that are as competitive. You can tell that just by watching him,” said Bryant, who is making his third visit to Manila.
“Next fight, I will be there,” he added, referring to Pacquiao’s upcoming fight with Miguel Cotto.
