Subject: ?Ring Talk Radio? Tito-Winky PPV Contest!
Hey Pedro,
I need you to pay my Cable bill for the May 14 Tito Trinidad-Winky Wright after shelling out $200 bucks for a ticket to the James Toney vs. John Ruiz card!! Throw my name in the hat! Winky Wright will win by Unanimous Decision after giving Tito a lesson in the sweet science. Make that check payable to Time Warner Cable baby!! By the way, if you are going to be at the Garden on April 30th, I’d love to meet and chat with you. Thanks for taking my call on the show tonight, keep up the great work.
Regards,
Lee, Rosedale N.Y
Dear Lee,
We will formally begin this contest ?I Buy You The May 14 Trinidad-Wright HBO PPV? on the website next week. You caught one of the two Sunday editions of ?Ring Talk Radio.? I often begin contests on the radio, and then expand them to the website and the readers. Remember, some of these listeners have been with me almost 19 years! As for NYC, the Lear is fueled and ready. Thanks for listening! Pedro
Subject: Ripping Off Manny Pacquiao
Hi Pedro,
Thank you for continuing to report real boxing news. When I read about the absent Pay-Per-View clause of Manny Pacquiao in your ?Early Monday News? column I was flabbergasted. If Rod Nazario and Murad Muhammad have any honor at all, they should make Manny good on the revenue he missed out on because of their “omission”.
Other than www.RingTalk.com, no website or print journalist covering the sport of boxing is making things like this that need to be known, known. The rip-offs and raping of the fighters won’t stop unless somebody makes it all known.
Warren
Dear Warren,
Nazario is really at fault here! Promoter Murad Muhammad does not have a fiduciary role, (one to protect and do the best for Manny) not like Rod Nazario. It is up to Nazario to protect Manny, to see that this ?everyday PPV clause? was present in Pacquiao?s contract. Had Attorney and former agent Sydney Hall, whom Nazario and Murad ran off, if Sydney were still involved, none of this would have happened! By the way, Hall hasn?t been commenting on any of this because of his pending suit against Murad. Pedro
Subject: Klitschko Back Surgery
So they say that his surgery was minor. I think they are understating his condition. While surgery for herniated disks is relatively common it sometimes fails. Surgery in the spine to remove arthritic spurs is uncommon in the general population because of the high risk of scar tissue formation causing Irritation to spinal nerves.
Dear Sir,
Having Arthritic Spurs on a couple of discs, my Dr. told me the ?scar tissue from the surgery could make it worse? several years ago. I went and saw an Acupuncturist, and was jogging soon thereafter and still sans any real pain! Pedro
Subject: HBO BAD Gone BAD!
Your article on the web site about the HBO Boxing After Dark series having gone down hill is right on. The After Dark series to a much lesser extent, but the ESPN Friday night fights are not doing the boxing fans any favors with their poor match making.
Thanks,
Josh, Spokane, WA
Subject: On A Good Roll!
I hope all things are going well for you. And you probably get a ton of e-mails so you don’t really remember many people. But ever since Andre Ward won his Gold, which I predicted along with you, I have been on a pretty good roll. With that I will say that Tito Trinidad stops Winky Wright in the tenth round. Looking forward to Antonio Margarito and Kermit Cintron this weekend on ESPN PPV.
Subject: Writer Applauds www.RingTalk.com
Hi Pedro,
Thank you very much for sharing your fearless views regarding the Manny Pacquiao situation. You hit everything right on the button. Especially with Filipino writer Ronnie Nathanielsz! Initially Mr. Rod Nazario was hailed in the Philippines as a guy who helps supporting upcoming fighters like then Manny Pacquiao. Now he is slowly being unraveled as nothing but a common thief like Murad. They’re just both leeches sucking the Pacman dry.
Yours Truly,
Jerry Nisperos www.ringsidereport.com
Dear Jerry,
Wasn?t Rod Nazario involved in that Luisito Espinosa fight in the Philippines in which ?King Louie? never got paid? Remember, there was like 130,000 people in the crowd?
Subject: Infamous Pacquiao Duo!
Mr. Fernandez,
Thank you very much for writing your article on “Rod the Roach” and “Murad ‘the Moron? Muhammad. You have been constantly voicing out your opinion about the wrongdoings that they have caused our national here, Pacman. We appreciate your work. Once again, thank you very much.
Jerico Landingin
Dear Jerrico,
In this instance it is Manny Pacquiao. I?m just trying at www.RingTalk.com to insure that the most primitive of laborers, ones that can be killed in an instant any day at work, that they are paid for their services, and the risks they must endure. To report on people steal from boxers is not without some self-sacrifice. For to kick these peoples? ass Jerrico, whether you realize it or not I face repercussions. And that is the sole reason the other guys don?t have the stones to really belly up to the bar, they?d rather bury their heads in the sand then be a truth-teller!
Subject: You Keeping My Name Confidential
Pedro,
Thanks for mentioning my thoughts, and support the ?Yory Boy? Campas Phoenix AZ. Picket Line. At the same time say thanks again for not including my name, and thus protecting me from the ravages of Michael Katz. Very nice, and thank you!
