Manny Pacquiao, named Fighter of Year for 2008 by the Boxing Writers Asscociation of America, has confirmed that he will be on hand in New York on June 12 for the BWAA’s 84 annual dinner.
Joe Calzaghe, honored as Best Manager, will also be in attendance.
Freddie Roach, Pac Man’s trainer, won the Trainer of the Year award and Steve Farhood, Showtime boxing analyst, will pick up the award for Long and Meritorious Service.
