?PAC-MAN? NEEDS TO DROP LAME PROMOTER NOW!
The role of a Promoter, Attorney, Manager, Agent, etc., when acting or representing a professional boxer is a ?Fiduciary? one. Webster?s Dictionary defines the term derived from the Latin word fiducia, as one of trust and confidence. In the case of World 126 lb. champion Manny Pacquiao, the man with the ?Fiduciary? role is Promoter Murad Muhammad.
?FIDUCIARY? A WORD NOT IN MURAD?S ROLE
It is his job to protect ?Pac-Man? in all aspects of the boxing business. The fact that Murad signed a pact to fight Erik Morales without having read it in its entirety is so typically Murad. People I know in the boxing business consider Muhammad a buffoon at best, and a crook at worst. Either way, it?s not good for Pacquiao. If you put aside his apparent intellectual limitations, Murad is still a confirmed ?Narcoleptic,? meaning he falls a sleep and wakes up without even knowing it.
DID MURAD WAKE UP AND THEN SIGN THE CONTRACT?
So even if Murad were not a crook, and wading in the shallow end of the IQ pool, as he has led me to believe on both fronts, is a man who can fall asleep at any given time a capable adversary for Bob Arum or his cohorts during long negotiations, and when there?s millions of dollars at stake? Envision this mismatch folks. The Harvard educated Arum vs. Murad ?The Narcoleptic? Muhammad. After reading this, are you still wondering why ?Pac-Man? was forced to fight at a handicap with ?Girly? gloves against Erik Morales a fortnight ago?
ARREST MURAD FOR IMPERSONATING PROMOTER!
There are many reasons why Pacquiao would want to utilize the ?Reyes? brand of gloves. They are faster than the Asian manufactured ?Winning? brand, and are much better designed for a puncher. If the ?Winning? gloves inhibit speed and power, then they obviously took the two advantages Pacquiao had in the fight against Morales away from him. It was right there in the contract Murad signed, ?Winning? gloves, and he missed it.
WHO DOES MURAD WORK FOR? ERIK MORALES?
On Wednesday or Thursday of fight week, Team Pacquiao had an option in that they could have went to Nevada Court and told the Judge that Manny had no idea ?Winning? gloves were stipulated. Nevada sources say Pacquiao had a ?great chance? at a ruling that would have allowed the Filipino to wear the Reyes gloves, and not the pillows that are the ?Winning? gloves. And even though this was discussed, Murad decided against such!
PACQUIAO NEEDS MURAD LIKE A DISEASE!
When Pacquiao fought Agapito Sanchez in late 2001, I documented how Murad Muhammad made a fortune on the HBO televised fight. HBO put down $500,000 for the fighters to split. Out of the $250,000, Pacquiao received about $76,000! Trainer Freddie Roach spoke out about his not being paid accordingly, but Murad squelched that and Roach was satisfied monetarily. The net result of my series of articles on Murad-Pacquiao was that Manny was making far less money than the narcoleptic from New Jersey.
BACK TO THE WORD ?FIDUCIARY? AND MORONIC MURAD!
For those of you, and this includes Arizona?s Sen. John McCain, everybody who thought the ?Muhammad Ali Boxing Act? was the answer, that Federal Law would protect fighters from vultures with promotional licenses, you all need to reassess your thoughts. In closing, if Manny Pacquiao is to be well represented, if he is to get the most out of this treacherous business that is professional boxing, ?Pac-Man? needs to detach himself from Murad ?The Moron? Muhammad.

Although the case is still ongoing, I think I?ll be able to bring you up to date on a suit filed by California Attorney Sydney Hall against Murad Muhammad. It was Hall who brought Pacquiao to the United States, and in turn put him in contact with Muhammad/
