MANILA, Philippines ? With just a few days left before his much-anticipated showdown with Ricky Hatton, Manny Pacquiao had his highest-profile visitor so far ? former US president Bill Clinton.
According to a report by philboxing.com, Clinton dropped by the Four Seasons Hotel at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas last night to see the current pound-for-pound king.
?President Clinton wanted to personally wish Pacman good luck before he challenges junior welterweight champion Ricky Hatton,? the report said.
A picture of the former US president with his arm on Pacquiao?s shoulder appears with the report. Both men are all smiles in the photo, with Pacquiao flashing his lethal left fist.
The Pacquiao-Hatton fight, dubbed ?The Battle of East and West,? will be staged Sunday.
