Steve Bunce’s Boxing Hour starts at the earlier time of midday on Thursday to allow The Big Man to fly to Las Vegas to see Ricky Hatton’s super-fight with Manny Pacquiao.
The mouthwatering showdown from the Strip will be previewed in full on the show with plenty of people in the know having their say on the likely outcome as Manchester’s finest goes toe-to-toe with the Filipino superstar.
A chat with Carl Froch is on the agenda after his stunning last-gasp win against Jermain Taylor at the weekend with promoter Lou DiBella hopefully explaining The Cobra’s next move.
Tommy Egan will be granted a right to reply after he took offence at Bunce’s comments in Belfast over the weekend so expect plenty of fireworks there and Spencer Fearon is due in the studio to pay tribute to Greg Page, who died on Monday following complications to a serious brain injury initially picked up in the ring.
There could be more surprises in store so tune in, as always, on Setanta Sports News and setanta.com and remember to leave any feedback here if you want to get in touch.
Remember the early start time of midday this Thursday!
