THE ?GIRLY GLOVE? FIASCO IS INDEED TELLING
If Erik Morales fighting Manny Pacquiao with ?Girly? gloves wasn?t such a big thing, then why did Erik?s guy Fernando Beltran put a clause in the contract which allowed him to choose the gloves the men would wear Saturday night? Getting gloves from Asia specifically designed to take the power off of punches, this was a great edge for Erik as Beltran knew that ?Pac-Man? would have the power edge. And correctly Fernando projected that Erik could more likely control a boxing match, as this would be much easier then a street fight!

Before we go any further, lets give both credit and criticism where it?s due. First of all, Murad Muhammad should of spent less time looking at his new teeth, and concentrated on the Pacquiao-Morales contract. Surely it was a disadvantage for his fighter Pacquiao to not wear ?Reyes? gloves, AKA ?a punchers glove.? As for Beltran, who continues to show ring smarts beyond his years, Fernando deserves praise, as he knew the choice of gloves was ever so important.
?THE GREATNESS? OF ERIK MORALES
Having watched Erik Morales perform in the squared circle for better than a decade now, it?s hard to believe that the skinny kid I saw on Tijuana undercards is now ?Erik the Great!? One has to think that Morales has a problem with Marco Antonio Barrera. And no, I don?t mean styles. On Saturday, he boxed, all the while showing respect for Pacquiao?s power. But against Marco, whom he truly hates, all Erik does is swing for the fences. Although styles make fights, Erik?s penchant to war with Barrera, this may have led to his two-losses! At 48-2, (34 KO?s), and a winner of 17 of 19 WBC title fights, Erik ?El Terrible? Morales already has a spot in the Hall of Fame.
TOP RANK ?POSITIONING? TODD FOR TRIAL!
The way it looks to me, the Lawyers working for Top Rank realize that the evidence I?ve put forth on VP Todd Du beof is certain to lead to his being charged under the Anti-Racketeering ?RICO Act.? Todd and Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, they have no idea that the evidence against the Du beof is so voluminous. What am I trying to say? You can clean Todd up, take away any Colombian Dust, put him on Prozac, you can even send him to church. But none of that can mask the odor of his being a turd. You can only flush it!
