onito Donaire returned to action moments ago in Manila, Philippines with a sensational four round stoppage over Raul Martinez. Donaire came out looking to thrill local Fight Fans as he firmly planted his feet and looked to gun Martinez out early. Donaire landed telling left hooks and dropped Martinez twice in the opening stanza. He dropped him again in the second round and finally ended the fight 2:42 seconds into Round 4 with a beautiful left uppercut. Martinez went down for a fourth time in the fight and the bout was called to a halt. With the win Donaire retained his IBF flyweight title and improved to 21-1 (13 KOs).
