Manny Pacquiao’s rating and rank continues to go down on Time’s 2009 Most Influential People Online Poll. The Filipino boxing superstar, who ranked 6th last week, is now 24th on the list. The pound for pound boxing king has garnered the second highest vote of 9.9 million. He had more votes than any other candidate on the list with the exception of Moot, the 4chan.org founder who has 12.9 million. And yet, his average rating continues to fall.
The online poll shows that a high voting figure does not necessarily translate to high ranking and ratings . A lot of die hard Pacquiao fans are not happy with how this survey is conducted. But in the midst of this puzzling results, his fans are still urging everyone to continue voting since the TIME magazine did not put any deadline on when the voting should end.
