BESIDES HIS entourage, the first person boxing champion Manny Pacquiao talked to after his spectacular victory over Marco Antonio Barrera last Sunday was his ailing mother in General Santos City.
He asked how she was doing before telling her that every-thing was fine with him.
?No problem here, son,? said Pacquiao?s mom, Dionisia.
After being assured his mother was doing all right, Pacquiao then asked for the other members of his clan who had seen his exploits on TV hours earlier.
?Tinanong niya kami isa-isa, mula kay Nanay, Tatay, kapatid, at mga anak niyang si Emmanuel, Jr. at Michael Stephen, mga tiyuhin, tiyahin at pinsan pati na yung mga kapitbahay namin? said Isidra, the eldest among the four Pacquiao siblings.
