AFTER Freddie Roach said Manny ?Pacman? Pacquiao will stop Ricky ?The Hitman? Hatton in just three rounds, Floyd Mayweather Sr. answered that the fight won?t even last three rounds.
Mayweather Sr., whose son and namesake handed Ricky Hatton his only defeat, told fighthype.com, ?Hatton is going to stop Pacquiao before three. We?re going to put hands on him. Trust me. He better get ready to be disappointed then.?
Roach recently said he will be disappointed with Pacquiao if the fight lasts longer than three rounds.
Mayweather belittled Pacquiao?s talent and believes Pacquiao can?t stop Hatton.
?Ricky is coming to hurt this guy, man. He?s not playing games. Roach thinks because Lil Floyd did that to Hatton, that Manny can too, but he is not Lil Floyd,? said Mayweather Sr.
Former pound-for-pound No.1 Floyd Mayweather Jr. gave the 30-year-old British boxing superstar his lone loss via a 10th round technical knockout in 2007.
Mayweather Sr. also said they can beat Pacquiao by targeting his body, which they believe is his weakness.
?He?s been stopped with body shots twice. A lot of people don?t know that, but one guy hit him in the body and he was crawling around and couldn?t get up,? said Mayweather.
