ROLANDO Magbanua?s April 18 fight has been moved again.
Sammy Gello-ani, who is co-promoting the event along with Vice Gov. Manny Pi?ol, has decided to move the April 18 card at the Cebu Coliseum to April 25.
?We?re moving the fight a week after to give the boxers more time to prepare because of the Holy Week,? Gello-ani said in an interview with Sun.Star Cebu.
The fight will feature Magbanua?s defense of his interim World Boxing Organization (WBO) Oriental bantamweight title and WBO Oriental light flyweight champion Bert Batawang.
Gello-ani said there is also a possibility that Magbanua will not be facing Alejandro Martinez since the Costa Rican is asking for a very high purse.
