?Lahat tayong mga Pilipino fans ni Pacquiao. Siya ang nakapagbigay ng malaking karangalan sa ating bansa. He has become a unifying factor. Ako natutuwa rin nagkaroon ng ayusan sa mga kaibigan natin sa Solar Sports,” he said in an interview on dzBB radio.
[We Filipinos are all fans of Pacquiao. He has given much honor to the country. He has become a unifying factor. I am glad our friend has settled the matter with Solar Sports.]
On Saturday night, Pacquiao ended a four-day standoff with Solar Sports over the rights to air his bout with Hatton on television. Pacquiao?s decision to change media partners prompted Solar Sports president and chief executive officer Wilson Tieng and chief operating officer Peter Chanliong to fly to Los Angeles.
After the meeting, Pacquiao?s lawyer Franklin Gacal read a statement where Pacquiao apologized to the public for the confusion over the misunderstanding between him and Solar. – GMANews.TV
