Gregorio Asuncion Needs to Grow Some Stones

So I hear that some guy named ?Greg? Asuncion is filing an unlimited civil lawsuit against Freddie Roach due to some incident in which the world-renown trainer kicked him out of the Wild Card Gym during the preparation for the De la Hoya bout.

This means that he?s suing Freddie for strictly financial gain.

While it might be true that Roach had to physically assault the hanger on in order to make a point, I see absolutely no problem with this as the rules were laid out quite clear from the beginning. When Pacquiao and Roach say it?s time to go, don?t whine and cry about wanting to stay? simply get the fuck out of the gym.

While I wasn?t in attendance, I can probably imagine Roach trying to clear out the gym, Asuncion attempting to linger on, Roach getting irritated as a Manny groupie doesn?t follow directions, and is therefore forced to slap a bitch in the process.

Should there be a lawsuit stemming from this incident?

Absolutely not.

The entire boxing fraternity should be backing Freddie one hundred percent in this case as rules are rules and if you don?t follow them, expect to be broken in the process.

The fact that Roach didn?t break Asuncion?s jaw should show the high level of compassion that Freddie has for these bottom feeders as there?s nothing more irritating than having someone in your house that you don?t want there.

This lawsuit is garbage and if you don?t want to get sand on your feet, stay away from the beach.

Boxing as a sport, as a form of entertainment, as a spectator, and as a part of the media can be hazardous to your health. I fully expect all repercussions for anything controversial I might write or say as I feel everyone should.

Don?t cry about it later?

PS. Only Greg and Freddie know if he failed to leave when prompted to do so. If he attempted to do so and still got slapped then he might have an argument. Other than that, there should be no case… boxing has no room for crybabies.
