My most hated question the past few days is: ?Are you for Pacquiao or Morales?? Sometimes I?d like to just shout back and say, ?What?? but tact of Course tells me that it?s not the right thing to do.
Probably the people want to get what they believe would be ?expert opinion? from a sportswriter, but hey guys, this is one of those events where I forget I am a sportswriter and remember I am a Filipino. Well, unless of course I?m doing the coverage of the bout and have to be very unbiased when I write.
That means good luck to those who are tasked to do so.
To say I am pfor Erik Morales is I believe unpatriotic. I am not for Morales, because I am just as Filipino as Manny Pacquiao and if there?s anybody, who I?d want to see win this weekend, then no doubt it has to be my fellow Pinoy.
Pacquiao has provided us with a lot of reasons to be proud as a people. Oh yes, there?s not much to cheer about for us lately. There was the poisoning of school children in Bohol, the attempt of the jailed Abu Sayyaf leaders and members to bolt in Taguig, the attempt to split up Cebu Province, the fuel price hike, and lots more.
This weekend, we?ll be one as a nation. We want Pacquiao to win so we can at least forget what ails we are all going through. You can include to that being unhappy where you are, losing touch with your crush since the school break is about to start, and again a lot more.
I would honestly like to give my unbiased opinion about who would win The match, but I just can?t do that now.
Go Pacman! Make us proud to be Pinoys!

The City Sports Club Cebu, Inc. has lined up a series of summer sports lessons for the children of its members and sponsored guests.
There is quite a long list from the letter I got from Aimee Faith So.
The whole activity is backed by Lokal shirts of the De los Santos family, who I often see there playing basketball early afternoon every Sunday.
Interested parents can probably start checking what your kids can enroll in this early to avoid the rush.
By the way, parents of children who go to Sacred Heart School-Jesuit have until March 23 to register their kids for the summer sports program.
There are many events to choose from so fill up those forms now.
There are also the summer junior golf programs at both Alta Vista Golf and Country Club and Cebu Country Club for those who like to produce the next Tiger Woods or Jennifer Rosales.
The Cebu City Sports Center is also going to have a long list of summer clinics for you to all check out.
Get the kids involved in sports this school break. It?s definitely a worthwhile investment.
