Editor’s Note: After defeating American boxing legend Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya in the welterweight “Dream Match,” the Philippines’ People’s Champ, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao came home to Manila to a more subdued hero’s welcome than previous ones. But his countrymen were no less jubilant. Philippine media confirm that he attended a thanksgiving mass, visited the House of Representatives and capped his homecoming day with his traditional courtesy call to Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
This special collaboration video report from NAM’s “New America Now” TV program and daily English newscast “Balitang America” (News From America), of ABS-CBN Global ? The Filipino Channel — highlights Filipino, Latino and other fight fans who watched the action, as well as Pacquiao’s interview in Las Vegas right after the fight.
