BAHRAIN’S Filipino community was yesterday united in praise of their boxing hero Manny Pacquiao, who laid a dominant pummeling of Oscar De la Hoya on the way to an eight-round technical knockout win.
Fans of the 29-year-old warrior, nicknamed ‘Pacman’, who is widely considered as the world’s best pound-for-pound boxer, dropped their normal weekday routine in order to watch the bout live on television.
