AMERICAN promoter Gary Shaw has included Filipino super flyweight campaigner Z Gorres to their list of possible opponents for undisputed 115-pound champion Vic Darchinyan.
Shaw told SportsNews.ph that they are looking forward to fighting Mexican superstar Jorge Arce for Darchinyan?s first outing since annihilating Cristian Mijares.
?After we beat Arce, maybe a Z Gorres rematch or maybe Gerry (Pe?alosa),? said Shaw.
Boxing fans are now salivating at the prospect of seeing Arce rumble with Darchinyan but no definite deal has been reached according to Shaw.
?Hopefully Bob Arum will put Arce up for a real fight against Darchinyan which I think the fans would absolutely love,? said Shaw.
Gorres held Darchinyan to a controversial this year in an IBF superflyweight title eliminator at the Waterfront in Cebu. (PR)
