INTERNATIONAL Boxing Federation super bantamweight champion Manny Pacquiao’s nontitle fight against the heralded Marco Berrera of Mexico would determine his place in Philippine boxing history, according to Pacquiao’s business manager Rod Nazario.
Nazario said that if the 24-year-old Filipino champion beats the 30-year-old Barrera in their November 15 duel, tentatively set at Atlantic City in New Jersey, the General Santos native could be considered the greatest local boxer ever.
