Murmurs of Fernando Montiel facing either Masebulele Makapula or Zolile Mbityi during August proved to be incorrect. The reigning WBO super flyweight champion is headed off to Macao, China on December 13 to battle Z Gorres in a rematch of their February, 2007 bout which ended with Montiel winning by split decision.
