People’s featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao denied he will soon become an American citizen, ANC reported Saturday.
Pacquiao made the statement following reports he is seeking citizenship in the United States through his new manager, American Shelley Finkel.
Pacquiao clarified he is in the US just to train for his upcoming fight with Mexico’s Erik Morales next month.
He asserted he is proud of his country and will always be a Filipino. ANC
