World title challenger Glenn Donaire declared his eagerness to bring back the world junior flyweight crown which was once proudly held by a Filipino.
Donaire, older brother of current IBF flyweight champion Nonito, Jr. will be gunning for the IBF 108-lb crown against defending champion Ulisses Solis this coming weekend in Hermosillo, Mexico.
Donaire, who failed in his bid for the 112 crown when lost to then champion Vic Darchinyan due to an injured jaw, is targeting the same title once held by the country?s first two-division champion Dodie Boy Penalosa.
