International Boxing Federation junior featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao, the warrior from Mindanao, will wage war from the opening bell against Aztec warrior Marco Antonio Barrera in order to upset the rhythm of the featherweight king in their 12-round, nontitle ?Clash of the Titans.?
The fight will take place this Sunday, Manila Time and will be telecast by Solar Sports beginning 11 a.m. on RPN 9.
The fight plan of ace American trainer Freddie Roach is geared toward drawing Barrera into a slugfest with Pacquiao, a southpaw with devastating punching power in both hands. This is also not to let the featherweight king, who is regarded as one of the top five pound-for-pound fighters in the world, to outbox Pacquiao by using his experience, a stinging left jab and his powerful body shots.
