EXCLUSIVE | Sebastian Fundora would jump at the chance to give Manny Pacquiao a shot at the WBC super welterweight title.
Fundora spoke to WBN ahead of his chief support bout on Pacquiao’s comeback against Mario Barrios.
‘The Towering Inferno’ was taken aback by a question posed by WBN surrounding giving Pacquiao a shot at the 154-pound crown should they both win on July 19.
He told World Boxing News, “Absolutely, absolutely. Wow, this is a question, and that’s the first time it’s been asked of me. I’d love that fight.”
If Pacquiao comes through Barrios, the boxing legend will become the oldest welterweight champion ever at 46. A champion vs champion clash with Fundora would then open up.
The Pay-Per-View headlining event would be easy to make, as Premier Boxing Champions represent both fighters.
Pacquiao vs Fundora would represent another milestone for the returning ‘Pac-Man’ to aim for after next month’s return from a four-year absence.

“No, no, it hasn’t, no, it hasn’t been mentioned yet,” clarified Fundora. “Again, we’ve got to see how Pacquiao comes out in this fight. But if he does win, my doors are open.
“I do think he can (beat Barrios). But, will he? We’ll see,” he concluded.
