LOS ANGELES ? Manny Pacquiao apparently has had enough of David Diaz.
Nonoy Neri, who has a dual role in Pacquiao?s training for Diaz, revealed that while he and Buboy Fernandez have been regularly reviewing Diaz?s past fights on the wide-screen TV, Pacquiao has opted to play darts.
“Manny doesn?t bother to look at Diaz?s fights anymore,” said Neri, who acts as cook and training assistant.
Pacquiao is not the type who repeatedly watches the fights of his opponent in action and it normally takes him one quick look at the video to realize what is required of him to win.
“Perhaps, he already knows what to do that?s why he doesn?t even glance at the TV anymore,” said Neri, who hails from Davao.
Most notable of these fights was Diaz?s victory over Erik Morales and Neri said they?ve already dissected and examined thoroughly Diaz?s plus and minuses.
It was the Morales fight that gave Diaz a big boost in his career since Morales has never fought after absorbing a 12-round beating.
Diaz plans to resort to the same crowding style when he collides with Pacquiao.
But ringsiders are not impressed and this daredevil fighting trait could lead to Diaz?s doom since Pacquiao is fast on his feet and hands.
