THE rest of the country will be glued to their television sets Sunday morning, November 15, when reigning International Boxing Federation (IBF) super bantamweight champion Manny Pacquaio traded bombs with Mexican Antonio Barrera, widely acknowledged as the best featherweight boxer in the planet today.
Pacquiao enters the ring Sunday (Philippine time) unfazed over his heavy underdog billing.
Oddsmakers in Las Vegas and San Antonio in the United States placed him a 1-4 underdog in his bout with Barrera, nicknamed “Baby-faced Assassin”.
On Thursday, Pacquiao came face-to-face with Barrera in a press conference held in downtown San Antonio and made a brief announcement.
