MANNY Pacquiao deserves a million-dollar payday in his fight with Mexico’s Marco Antonio Barrera on Nov. 15 (Sunday in Manila) at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
By agreeing to a 350,000-dollar purse for Pacquiao, Rod Nazario and his American associates Murad Muhammad of M & M Sports had entered into a deal unfair to Pacquiao, according to his American trainer Freddie Roach.
“I think Manny should get one million dollars in this fight,” said the 43-year-old Hall of Famer Roach, who will get the full 10 percent trainer’s share from Pacquiao’s purse.
