Manny Pacquiao Would’ve Feasted On Ricky Hatton I Saw Saturday Night!

Under the heading of if and when?.

The Ricky Hatton who showed up to fight Juan Lazcano gives me pause. What if someone else had been in the opposite corner?

If it was Floyd Mayweather, Hatton would?ve been stopped in three or four rounds.

If it was Manny Pacquiao, Hatton would?ve been easily outpointed. Pacman would feast on Ricky’s less than tricky chin first defense.

If it was Paulie Malignaggi and also on the Manchester home grounds, Hatton wins a unanimous decision but takes a flash knockdown when off balance.

If it was Oscar de la Hoya and the weight was 147 pounds, midget Hatton would get clocked and rocked so much that his parents would scream for a stoppage.

If it was Stevie Forbes, Hatton

If it was Luis Collazo with two good hands, Collazo would?oops, I forgot, BK Louie beat Hatton but got robbed on his way out of the ring at Boston Garden.

If it was Junior Witter, oops again, scratch that one. Maybe Junior can fight Juan Lazcano 15 months from now. I?m being sarcastic, of course, because Witter would outpoint Hatton. Hatton would never knock Junior out…
