Manny Pacquiao can lose his June 28 title shot against WBC lightweight king David Diaz but the White Gorilla is going to be a winner either way.
Tireless Chicago fight publicist Bernie Bahrmasel just informed Boxingconfidential about two very important items.
One, Double BB vows the underdog champion will shock the world by beating Da Pacman and, two, when the upset smoke clears,. he will be reaching into his kick to pay for the first round of adult beverages not only for me but also for BC colleagues John Chavez and the always thirsty Pinoy pundit, Hermie Rivera.
Here?s BB?s latest midnight missive as he pushes champ DD?s cause:
?I can’t wait to buy you a drink if Diaz beats Manny, but please, don’t call it a miracle or compare it to Buster Douglas–this isn’t some club fighter getting a shot at the champ–this is the champ defending his title against a great fighter
Diaz has been good for a long time, just that not many have taken a look
You see the way Tim Bradley took care of Junior Witter, styles make fights.?
With trainer-cutman par excellence Jim Strickland and Bahrmasel in his corner, Diaz will not walk alone into the fight of his life.
Bottoms up!
