SUNDAY, MAY 15th @1pm
Great news! We’re received word from our friends at WBC Cares that former pro-boxer Oscar Cantù is speaking to teens in our “Give a Kid a Dream” mentorship program this Sunday.
Hailing from Texas, Oscar started in the sport at six years old, going on to win six titles in three different weight classes.
Following retirement in 2020 he has devoted his life to family and inspiring others.
For 30 years we’ve welcomed disadvantaged teens into the gym via this program. The goal is to make champions at life through free training, tutoring and creating opportunities (like this) that we hope make a positive impact on their young lives.
