MANILA–Filipinos will be treated to a grand drama outside of the ring tomorrow morning.
This as former WBC superfeatherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez has been confirmed to arrive in the country tomorrow morning on a PAL flight to watch the “Invasion” card at special ringside tomorrow.
This was confirmed today by sources close to the situation, and coincidentally, Marquez will be arriving on the same flight that Freddie Roach will be taking from Los Angeles.
“I wouldn’t know if Roach and Marquez would be talking during the plane ride,” said the source.
Pacquiao had earlier confirmed he would be arriving for the fight, and Marquez’ arrival would definitely add color to the show.
Marquez, who will be arriving upon the invitation of his promoter Golden Boy Promotions and ABS-CBN, is aching for a third battle with the Filipino boxing icon following his close defeat at the hands of the Pacman recently.
