USA – Jake Paul improved his record to 3W-0L-3KOs, 100% EFFICIENT!!!! Paul knocked down Ben Askren at 1 min 59 seconds in round one. Askren beat the count but referee Brian Stotts stopped the fight, didn’t let Askren continue.
The event was more of a hiphop concert that’s all I can say, I am not familiar with those artists as I am more of The Platters and Manhattans, Andrew E and Max Surban fan.
Jake Paul really looked good out there, you can tell that he’s really stern in his training. His left hooks were sharp/crisp/fast and the jab-straight combo that put Ben to the canvas was a bad ass perfect shot. Askren didn’t anticipate the hit that made him his the canvas face first.
People might think it is a circus, but Askren was a decorated amateur Wrestler, he was a USA Senior Freestyle National Champion (2008) and has an MMA record of 19W-6KOs-6Submission-2Losses.

Prograis won by legit blow!
Regis Prograis the former WBC Super Lightweight Champion of the world won via technical decision as Ivan Redkach faked a low blow hit and did not continue after a 5 minute recovery time.
Prograis the #2 rank just behind Josh Taylor and Jose Ramirez, was winning all the rounds until Ivan went down in round 7 claiming he was hit below the belt. Referee thought he got hit by a low blow too. But replay showed Prograis’ right body shot was a legitimate blow, and it wasn’t even a good hit to the body. But Ivan was crying like a baby who claimed he was hit by an illegal punch. Stretcher was his commute outside the ring. Very embarrassing.
Judges scored the fight 60-54, 60-54 and 59-54 all for Regis.
Regis Prograis improved his standing to 26W-1L-21KOs. He should face Josh Taylor / Ramirez winner. While Ivan dropped to 23W-6L-18KOs but I doubt we’ll see him on TV again. What he did was a fraud in live TV.
Cunningham did not KO Frank Mir!
Steve Cunningham was an above average pro boxer he was up there, he was a former IBF cruiserweight champion, a boxing world champion. The odds said he is -2000 favorite, meaning if you bet $2000 you will only win $100. I was expecting a KO, but it didn’t happen. Frank Mir survived the entire 6 rds.
Mir was a black belt former UFC Heavyweight champ. But the fight was pure boxing, Mir is one pack while Steve USS Cunningham (ex-US Navy) sculpted 6 packs. Steve should’ve KO Mir easy.
Cunningham won by a unanimous decision, Mir didn’t win a round from the judges.
