FANS are fearing Tyson Fury has to knock out Deontay Wilder in their rematch after the announcement that the referee and every judge is from America.
Fury, 31, takes on Wilder, 34, on Saturday in Las Vegas for the WBC title 15 months on from their contentious split-decision draw.
The Gypsy King largely outboxed the Bronze Bomber in Los Angeles but was twice dropped, and all three judges scored the bout differently.
Mexican Alejandro Rochin scored the fight 115–111 for Wilder, Canada’s Robert Tapper had it 114–112 for Fury and amazingly Brit Phil Edwards judged the contest a draw with a 113–113 scorecard.
New York-born referee on the night Jack Reiss was hailed for giving Fury the chance to miraculously beat the count after being put on the canvas in the final round.
But Wilder slammed the Reiss’ 10-count, adamant the Gypsy King was given more than the allocated time to survive being counted out.
For the rematch the Nevada State Athletic commission chose experienced and regular Las Vegas trio Glenn Feldman, Dave Moretti and Steve Weisfeld as the judges.
And Kenny Bayless will be the man in the middle of Wilder and Fury – with the WBC sanctioning the decisions.
The all American panel has British fans fearing Fury will be victim of “another robbery” in Sin City.
One said: “So fury will need a KO.”
Another said: “Hope they don’t cheat Tyson like the last lot.”
One added: “Another Robbery in the making!”
