FOR a while, everybody was there. It was packed tighter than Banilad road on a rush hour. Oscar dela Hoya. Felix Trinidad. Winky Wright. Jermain Taylor.
But then de la Hoya dropped down back to junior middle. Trinidad retired, un-retired and thereafter just became plain tired. Winky Wright chased Bernard Hopkins all the way to light heavyweight.
But what broke the camel?s back was Jermain Taylor?s loss to Kelly Pavlik. Apparently, his first career loss hurt more than the loss of his middleweight belts, as this weekend they will be donny brooking at the super middleweight limit and Pavlik?s titles won?t be at stake.
