Manny Pacquiao entered his third day of sparring Thursday in Los Angeles under the watchful eyes of an HBO crew gathering exclusive footages of the Filipino star.
?They took videos of me while I was eating, playing billiards and playing the guitar, which I love to do after a day at the office (Wild Card Gym),? Pacquiao told philboxing.com yesterday.
The HBO crew is gathering enough materials for a special primer being readied in connection with Pacquiao?s awaited March 15 rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas.
A separate crew was in Mexico recently to handle the Marquez training, which was a couple of weeks ahead of Pacquiao?s.
The Filipino megastar sparred last Saturday and Tuesday and after Thursday?s session has reportedly logged a total of 16 rounds with a number of sparring mates.
Pacquiao said the other day he expects to log 120 rounds heading into the final week prior to the match. The number is just about the same as Pacquiao had done in previous matches.
?I?m in good condition and there?s no problem in training. Even if it?s really tiring, I feel happy and the whole team is focused on the fight,? he added.
Last Tuesday, Pacquiao sparred with Daniel Cervantez and Juan Garcia, a couple of Mexicans who are trying to simulate the fighting style of Marquez.
Pacquiao entered the crucial stage of his training still after a short bout with the flu virus last week.
?I?m still coughing a little but the preparation continues,? added Pacquiao who should be able to totally shake off the virus with a few more rounds of sparring.
