Boxing’s only eight division world champion and Philippine senator Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao arrives at the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas Tuesday afternoon ahead of his WBA world welterweight title fights against the undefeated Keith Thurman of the United States this Saturday (Sunday in Manila) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, also in Las Vegas.
Thurman, 30, considered as one of the top three welterweights in the world at present, promised to retire Pacquiao on Saturday and take the PPV baton from Filipino who remains as boxing’s superstar in more than a decade. Pacquiao meanwhile, wants to prove that at 40, he is belongs to the very top of the division.
