A key ingredient in Manny Pacquiao?s training camp will be discussed during the Filipino?s lightning tour of New York City and Los Angeles this week for the July 20 clash with Keith Thurman.
?I expect that the trainers will talk about how training camp will play out,? said Pacquiao?s aide-de-camp Sean Gibbons on Sunday from Los Angeles.
The major players in Pacquiao?s training team ? trainer Buboy Fernandez, Wild Card guru Freddie Roach and conditioning coach Justin Fortune ? will go over the logistics as the eight-division world champion gets ready to commence the buildup.
?The choice of sparring partners and where camp will take place and when the senator intends to set up camp in the US will be discussed,? said Gibbons.
Usually, Pacquiao spends the first three or four weeks of training in the Philippines ? either Manila or General Santos City ? before flying to the US for the final push.
Gibbons says Pacquiao?s battery of trainers know what is needed to ensure victory.
