Hayes planed in late Wednesday night with his father Morris and is looking forward to making the introductions for Sunday morning?s slambang show featuring Rey Bautista of the Philippines against Antonio Meza of Mexico at the Araneta Coliseum.
Hayes was in a cheery mood when she met the Filipino media yesterday at the PICC and teased the scribes by telling them that she?d only be wearing a pair of stilettos on fight day.
“High heels and eyelashes,” said Hayes, giggling, to the delight of those in attendance.
A graduate of broadcast journalism, Hayes has done 50 announcing gigs for boxing but has also done some modeling and acting as well.
Buffer is best known for yelling out “Let?s Get Ready To Rumble,” while “It?s Showtime” that makes Lennon click among fight fans from around the world. “It?s time to separate the men from the boys” is Hayes? famous line.
Although Hayes won?t be matching her high heels and eyelashes with her favorite perfume and flirtatious smile, she is expected to stand out when she enters the ring.
Hayes has posed for Maxim magazine and even Playboy ? although she was clothed in the Hugh Hefner publication.
