Z Gorres will face a Vic Darchinyan hitting harder than ever and determined to unify the world super-flyweight title.
That?s the opinion of Darchinyan?s agent Angelo Hyder, who says his man has the power to make the judges obsolete when he clashes with Gorres in Cebu City on February 2 in an IBF super-flyweight eliminator.
“Vic believes he has the power to stop Gorres by the middle rounds,?? Hyder said.
“He feels he sorted out a lot of things in the Catubay win and is very confident of going to the Philippines and beating their champion inside the distance before his home crowd.
“Vic?s not worried about any home town decisions because he says the fight won?t go the distance. His gym work has been fantastic and he is punching better than ever.??
Hyder said the Armenian-born Australian Darchinyan has a Russian wife and desperately wants to fight Russia?s IBF world super-flyweight champ Dmitri Kirilov in Russia.
“Vic recently bercame a father for the first time and that has made him even more determined to go to the Philippines and stop Gorres,?? Hyder said.
“He really wants to score a big win in the Philippines and then beat Kirilov in Moscow.??
