The first of those came in emphatic style when ?King Khan? knocked out pretender Phil Lo Greco in 39 seconds, whereas last Saturday?s points decision over Samuel Vargas cast doubts over Khan?s world title readiness.
Despite flooring his opponent twice, the Bolton fighter was dropped late in the second round, outlining his vulnerable chin, which has continuously been the Achilles heel of Khan?s career.
Following the fight, the 31-year-old demanded a bout with WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, despite clamour from the British boxing public for a Khan vs Brook showdown.
That fight has been touted for over five years, with Brook willing to make weight at 147lbs for it to happen.
Eddie Hearn promotes both fighters and revealed he has reserved three dates at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff during December, in case a fight is agreed.
Khan has slightly different ideas, however, as he explained while on talkSPORT?s Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
?A fight between us two, I really believe it would be a football stadium fight, Wembley Stadium for sure,? Khan said.
?It?s a fight that?s been talked about for a long, long time and it?s a massive British rival fight as well.
?I?ve always dreamt of fighting in a stadium ? to sell a stadium out would be one of my dreams.?
Khan, however, remains adamant that the Pacquiao match-up is first on the agenda.
