Check out what Bazooka has to say to FightFans everywhere, only on FightFan.com!
FF: AJ, tell us how your training is going right now?
AJ: It is getting harder now as I am preparing for the upcoming fight on December 2.
FF: You have had a very impressive year in 2007, with three wins and two back-to-back knockouts. What have you learned in the last year as a fighter?
AJ: I learned to give all I can in the ring. I learned not to be hasty when facing veteran fighters. I am trying to consistently punch with calculated accuracy.
FF: You have 12 KO’s in 15 wins so it?s no doubt you are a strong puncher. How do you feel your defence and boxing is progressing?
AJ: Many people believe that my defence and boxing are very good as they are. Yet I always feel that I need to improve on both. I feel I have improved and I am still working on improving further in that area. I have improved a lot recently because of the fighters I have fought against.
FF: You are a young fighter (18-years-old) and are making waves in the boxing world. Do you feel any pressure fighting at such a young age with how popular boxing is in your home country?
AJ: No, I don’t feel any pressure on me. I gladly fight with pride for the ALA Gym and Filipinos everywhere.
FF: How do you feel about your development as a fighter and what goals do you have for the next year?
AJ: My development is doing very well thanks to the support and guidance of Sir ALA (Antonio L. Aldeguer) and Edito Villamor (Chief Trainer). If given the chance, I want a championship belt next year.
FF: What would you like to say to all the Bazooka fans all over the world?
AJ: Please support me with your prayers. All I want to do once I climb into the ring is to fight to entertain all of you.
FF: Salamat (Thank you) AJ.
AJ: Thanks to you and boxing fans everywhere.
