Vic Darchinyan says Z Gorres had better be ready to walk through Hell when they fight a world super-flyweight title eliminator on March 1.
Darchinyan said he is treating the battle for the IBF?s top spot as the most important fight of his life.
He said he respected Gorres as an excellent boxer who had mixed it with the best in the world and should have gotten the decision over WBO champ Fernando Montiel.
But he said Gorres had better be prepared for a more ferocious attack than he had ever received in his career.
“I want to prove I am the best in the world again,?? Darchinman said of his move from the flyweight to the super-flyweight divisions.
“Z Gorres is a good fighter, a strong fighter but I have knocked out a lot of good, strong fighters.
“I feel I am much stronger at super-flyweight than at flyweight and I am ready to give my best fight ever against Gorres.??
The fight will be on the undercard to the third meeting between Israel Vazquez and Rafael Marquez.
