Undefeated Roman Gonzalez showed why he is the newest Asian boxing sensation after he easily pulverized Eriberto “Yukka” Gejon in one round hours ago at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
Gonzalez, from Nicaragua and a protege of Akihiko Honda’s Teiken Promotions, finished off Gejon in just 69 seconds, improving his record to 15 wins with 15 KO’s in as many outings.
Gejon, who twice vied for the WBA title losing each time by decision to Yutaka Niida, slides to 23-3-1, 14 KO’s.
