The Big Brother of boxing is on.
THE search for the next boxing hero rolls off as 32 promising fighters set their foot in the reality boxing show ?Idolo,? a joint project between television giant ABS-CBN and the ALA Gym.
But of the 32, only 16 will stay to pursue their hunt to become the ultimate boxing hero while the 16 will pack up to look for their luck somewhere else.
The 16 scheduled bouts are divided into four divisions: 105-108 lbs., 112-115 lbs., 118-122 lbs., and 126-130 lbs.

Fighters for the 105-108-lb. category are Jerson Mancio of Esperanza Agusan del Sur; Jesser Engalan of Dakutan, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur; Edmar Tu?acao of Opao, Mandaue City; Saddam Barambangan of Bray Bula, Gen. Amateurs
Most of the fighters have no professional boxing experience while some had already fought a couple of four-round matches.
All fighters are now housed at the ALA Gym where all their moves and trainings are documented for the show, which will soon be aired.
