BOXING returns to Catmon with Big Yellow Boxing Promotions? ?Bakbakan sa Catmon? on Jan. 31 at the Catmon Sports Complex.
The show is headlined by a Visproba bantamweight title fight between Carlo Demecillo and Margarito Moya.
The 21-year-old Demecillo had an impressive 2017, winning all three of his fights. He?s coming off a fourth-round stoppage win over Jay-Ar Aliasot in the first ?Bakbakan sa Catmon? last month.
Moya, 22, fought sparingly in the last two years, just once in 2017 and twice in 2016. He lost two of his last fights: a first-round stoppage by Jess Rhey Waminal and a third-round knockout in the hands of Junrel Jimenez.
Demecillo and Moya both have identical records of 9-4 with three knockouts.
Cris Ganoza (14-1, 8 KOs) is up against veteran Sherwin Lungay (8-41-2) in the main supporting bout. The 23-year-old Ganoza opened up last year with a ninth round knockout loss to world-ranked Edward Heno. He bounced back and won his next two fights, knockout wins against Garry Rojo and Rey Morano.
