IBF junior bantamweight champion Jerwin "Pretty Boy" Ancajas arrives in Belfast with his team for his 3rd title defense againts Jaime Conlan on Saturday, 18 November 2017.
Jerwin is relaxed and remains confident that he would weather Conlan's challenge and the expected hostile crowd's booing come fight night.
Jerwin successfully defended his crown with an 8th round TKO of Mexican Jose Alfredo Rodriguez in Macau last 28 January and a 7th round TKO of Japanese Teiru Kinoshita in Brisbane, Australia last 02 July.
Accompanying Jerwin in Belfast are manager-trainer Joven Jimenez ang minimum weight prospect Mark Anthony Barriga.
Some Belfast Filipino-born residents in Belfast promised to out-cheer the locals come fight night. Among them are Mariano Agsino from Panabo and Vincent Saljay ("Banto"), in the picture, from North Cotabato.
Jerwin is encouraged by the promised full support of Belfast based Filipinos who are very proud of his accomplishments to bring honor to the country.
