THE LATEST issue of KO magazine has on its cover a solo picture of Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao was also on the cover of latest issue of The Ring magazine (December 2004) alongside Bernard Hopkins, Erik Morales and James Toney.
This was confirmed to The Bulletin by Nigel Collins, the editor-in-chief of the Ring.
Collins added that an eight-page Q&A done by Pampanga-based American freelance writer Ted Lerner and conducted at Pacquiao?s newly-bought house in BF Homes in Para?aque is the centerpiece of the issue. Lerner was aided in the translation by fight scribe Dominic Menor of the newspaper, Today.
In The Ring, Pacquiao barged into the top 10 of the issue?s The 100 Greatest Fighters in the World at No. 7.
Pacquiao is currently training at the Wild Card Boxing Club of Freddie Roach in Hollywood, California. He left the country on Sept. 8 in the hopes of securing a big-money fight before the yar comes to a close.
Murad Muhammad, Pacquiao?s New Jersey-based promoter failed to land fights with Marco Antonio Barrera or Morales.
Reports have it that Juan Manuel Marquez, the Mexican who backed out of an immediate rematch with the Filipino lefty, and Pacquiao are on a colission cource for mid-February 2005.
In his latest outing, Marquez was hardly impressive in beating fellow Mexican Orlando Salido underneath the Hopkinsdela Hoya headliner at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.
