He can be the largest star in this sport and take it worldwide. Anything less than stadiums and American TV stations will be a waste. What a spectacle and what a night! 2. The fight was superb. We learned so much about both men and both get credit. Joshua showed a chin, heart and the ability to get past bad times. His power is evident. More head movement and sideways movement for next time. 3. When the legacy of Wladimir Klitschko is written, this fight will be a huge part. At the age of 41 and 18 months off he looked superb. He nailed Joshua with a huge shot. Showed heart and chin himself. To be the older man and have his feet still moving in and out in that way in the tenth round was incredible. It also means Fury deserves more credit. 4. I would love to see Fury vs. Joshua, but think Joshua will have one more in-between as Fury looks away from boxing yet. Maybe Pulev, his interim is first and then the huge, huge clash. Given their clash prior to the fight, it seems even more likely that we see Wilder vs. Bellew. 5. The Quigg bout was an intriguing one. He has to use his high pace and body shots to wear down opponents even as Simion landed cute, classy shots early. The power and relentless nature of Quigg soon told but his last three rounds were surprisingly poor. He may have lost that fight if it was not in England. Although his lack of speed and jab meant Simion was never out of it. I cannot wait for the clash of styles with Selby. Selby has the class but Quigg can take him into deep waters. Selby has to be favourite. 6. Luke Campbell was slow to start but eventually took over and dominated Darleys Perez. Particularly impressive once he got the range. Crolla struggled the first time while he probably deserved the win over Hooker. Gamboa is possibly the only man who won as comfortably. It did look to me like Perez quit, under pressure from the Campbell attack. Hopefully Linares next time out and it?s intriguing. 7. Katie Taylor once again looked good, with a lovely right hook the main punch. She stopped Nina Meinke and hopefully will step up to a world title shot soon. 8. Tyson Fury seemed back on track this week. Did this fight motivate his return to training or is he just the best self promoter around and knew this week was the one to grab interest. He is still an awkward matchup for anyone in the division. I think to beat him you need a more elusive speedster who is not put off by his rhythm and kinks. 9. Eddie Hearn still is unsure on the format of these events. The number of fight seemed better this time but there was not enough competitive fights. The formula here worked with three 12 rounders although you would want one undercard fight to be a 50-50 or at least a 60-40. 10. C?rdina impressed on the undercard but I will keep saying between the first fight and the next step up (British title level usually) I am just not interested. I did feel for Kelly and Okolie who did not see the card due to time restraints.
